Monetary Policy in a low inflation environment

The very low inflation levels prevailing in many European countries requires a deeper understanding of inflation dynamics, in some countries the relationship between slack in the economy and inflation seems to have weakened recently.  This makes interpreting and controlling inflation dynamics more difficult having significant consequences for monetary policy. Well known experts in this field will address these themes and will design appropriate policy responses to the prevailing low inflation environment.
